Free Playstation 3 scams

Posted in General at 6:06 pm by playstation3

I just noticed it – Playstation 3 scams are already a plague on the internet.

Working on popular keywords, the bad guys are proliferating.

Some example?

If not malicious, they are promising to give out a free playstation 3, that still doesn’t exist.

Others are promising a ps3 in exchange for a newsletter subscribtion.

This is surely a nicer idea. If you don’t expect they’ll send u a Free Playstation 3 tomorrow :)

I could create something similar, if WP supported a mailing list… let’s see. Anyway, to check our Buy Playstation 3 page sometimes could be a good idea :)

So you know, the places that you sign up, do some free trials, and refer some people DO WORK. Those ARE NOT scams. The way it works:

    2.Do Promotion

    1. You register, upon completion, you go to step 2.
    2. You pick 1-2 free trials the require credit cards, all you have to do is cancel the very next day, or even the same night!
3.???? This is the step that helps the website, for every promotion completed, the website gets around 60-80 $. (I’ll finish this explanation in a second.)
    4. You start refering people, certain products require a certain ammount of refers, and for a refer to be complete, they have to complete a promotional offer.

That is the step process, and here is the reason why you actually get the product. For expensive things, the product requires a good ammount of refers, like around 8 to 10. Now remember, each promotional offer gives the website 60-80$ every time ONE is completed. When you do one, it gives em 60-80$. Now to get the product you have to have a certain number of refers. Lets say most likely ps3 is 10 refers. You know what this means? Your 60-80$ for your promo offer, PLUS your TEN refers promo’s, equils 660-880$ After gaining an EASY 200-400$ profit, they will GLADLY give you the product, because you just made them a bunch of money. And the cycle then continues through your refers, so it keeps on adding up and up and up. I have done it before for the iPOD, and trust me, it is not a scam.

  2. Thank you for the kind explaination Roughknite, a very good one.

But I know promos work. A friend of mine has got his PSP through this system, and he got it easily.

But, actually, this is a scam.

As PS3 IS NOT AN EXISTING PRODUCT. You can’t promise something that isn’t out yet. Everything could happen. A big change in the price, in example.

You can’t offer something that is not available. When PS3 will pop out, the referral method is a pretty good one if you live in the U.S.

That’s also why I’m not taking pre-orders. I could make a lot of money over them (just take a look at ebay…), as my “Buy Playstation 3” page gets 60-70 visits daily from people looking to buy it now.
But this is a nonsense, isn’t it ?

By the way, I agree with you, the methods DO work, if you point on reliable ones.

I see your point, and true, the product does not exist yet, not even a price is set. But for other products, there you go! Now all I have left to do is get another credit card, cancled my first one -_-, and I want more free stuff, haha.

  5. yeah, so sorry they usually don’t ship outside u.s. :\

Yup, these systems do work. I already got 1 psp (plus 1 more I won from a contest) and 3 ipods (2 videos and 1 nano) from this system. If you want more detailed of all this works, visit my site.

Of course, ppl will be doing the pre-order thing now so that they can secure themselves in line for when the item does become available. The line will of course be huge, so its good to start early.

A good example is of the xbox 360. Sites like these set up their sites at least 6 months before its planned launch. When the price was set, it was all ready to expect new members. Gratis (also called Freepay) is the king of all freebie sites and did this a long time back. Now, they recently also launched the PS3 site when the approximate price was revealed.

They’re sites that ship internationnaly. I’m Canadian and am currently being approved for my PS3. From this same international site I got my free psp and ipod nano. If anyone is interested, the link to this site is on my website :)

yes that is true that the PS3 is not out yet but freepay (a gratis company) started one if they can’t give you what it said they would give you then they give you something of equal value.

it is really cool how these sites do this but there are lots that do the same thing as freepay but don’t ever give you anything. that is why so many people don’t trust any of these companys.

but there are those that are trusted sites.

do some reserch before you join a site that way you can know if it is trusted or not.

This is one of the genuine offers you are talking about, I have done a lot of research in to it, and it featured on the BBC as legit.

It is for a totally FREE Playstation 3 the bigger 60GB version.
Delivered on release. I didn’t believe it myself but I have looked into it and it’s easy.

All you have to do is follow the link below or paste it into your browser.

Follow the registration, doesn’t cost anything.

Once registered first thing you have to do is choose from and register with an offer, there is a few to choose from. It is the advertisers of these offers that pay for your PS3.

The best one in my opinion is the Love Film offer.
It’s a movie club, you just register and you can select the cheapest subscription which is £5.99 but you don’t actually have to pay anything because it comes with a free trial period. And you can cancel before you pay.

BUT you have to wait till they send you a DVD, then watch it or not, and send it back then cancel your subscription a few days before your first payment is due. Otherwise it won’t register you, and you wont be eligible for a Playstation 3.

If you don’t cancel it they will charge you £5.99 but you will get 4 DVD’s to watch. And as long as you cancel it within that next month you won’t get charged again. Or choose to keep it it’s not a bad offer.

Then you have to refer this offer to friends etc. And you receive a £400+ PS3!! This is no joke.

My mate has already done it. It takes very little work, and the prize is definately worth it.

  9. Good web site you have here.. It’s difficult to find excellent writing like yours nowadays. I truly appreciate individuals like you! Take care!!

  10. Good way of explaining, and fastidious paragraph to get data on the topic
of my presentation subject, which i am going to present in college.

An intriguing discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that that you need to publish more on this subject, it might not be a taboo matter but typically people do not discuss these subjects. To the next! Cheers!!
